Damascus, Syria – More than 100 people were killed and injured on Monday as Iran launched a large-scale missile strike on several areas in Israel.
According to the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, five people were killed and at least 103 others were injured after Iranian missiles struck the Greater Tel Aviv area early Monday morning.
The report stated that some of the Iranian missiles successfully bypassed Israeli air defence systems, hitting key sites in Tel Aviv and Haifa. It added that the attacks targeted Israeli military installations and critical urban infrastructure. Several people remain missing in Haifa following the strikes.
Israeli media, citing the commander of the Central District Police, reported that many buildings sustained damage from the missile attacks.

In response, Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on Monday that Israeli warplanes had struck a headquarters belonging to Iran’s Quds Force in Tehran.
Adraee said on the social media platform X that the operation was based on precise intelligence gathered by Israel’s intelligence units. He added that Quds Force operatives had used the targeted sites to plan attacks against Israel through Iranian proxies across the Middle East.
The Israeli strikes reportedly also hit missile launch platforms and ballistic missile sites in southern Tehran.
On Sunday, Iranian missiles had already struck several Israeli cities, including Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem, after Israel’s air defence systems failed to intercept multiple incoming projectiles.
