Daraa, southwest Syria – The Israeli army on Thursday raided a village in the western countryside of Daraa province, southern Syria, and arrested three people, according to our correspondent.
The correspondent said an Israeli patrol entered the village of Abidin in the Yarmouk Basin area and detained three individuals on charges of weapons possession.
Local news outlets in Daraa identified the detainees as brothers Mohammad, Ziyad, and Omar Abdulaziz al-Masri, accused of possessing arms.
The arrests follow a series of Israeli incursions earlier this month. On August 8, Israeli forces carried out military operations in several villages and towns in Quneitra province, including al-Rafid, Kudnah, al-Mushayda, al-Mu‘allaqa, Jabata, and Tranjah.
