Damascus, Syria – Around 20 people were injured on Thursday after Iran launched a new wave of missile strikes on central and southern Israel.
According to The Times of Israel, 19 people, one of them seriously, wounded in missile strikes that hit Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Holon.
Wolfsen Medical Centre in Holon confirmed it was treating three individuals with serious injuries following a direct hit on the city.
The report also stated that a ballistic missile fired by Iran struck Soroka Medical Centre in Beersheba, southern Israel, causing severe damage throughout the hospital. A Soroka spokesperson confirmed the hospital sustained significant damage and several people were injured in the strike.
Hospital administrators urged residents not to seek treatment at Soroka for the time being. Videos circulating on social media appeared to capture the moment of impact on the hospital.

Preliminary reports indicate that at least four missiles hit various locations in central and southern Israel during the latest barrage, The Times of Israel reported.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported Thursday morning that the new wave of Operation True Promise 3, led by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, had been launched against targets inside Israel.
On Wednesday, Iran fired approximately ten missiles at central Israel, sparking fires in several vehicles but causing no casualties, according to Israeli media.
The Times of Israel said air raid sirens sounded across multiple cities in central Israel, and the Israeli military ordered residents to seek shelter. The Israeli army also reported shooting down an Iranian drone over the Dead Sea, triggering additional alarms in the area.
Israeli Army Radio reported that Iran has launched roughly 400 ballistic missiles at Israel since the outbreak of the war.

In a televised statement, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps said the “eleventh wave of Operation True Promise 3” involved the launch of Fateh-1 ballistic missiles toward Israel. The IRGC claimed that Iranian forces now “fully control Israeli airspace” after deploying hypersonic missiles.
On Tuesday, the Israeli army announced it had finalized a military plan to strike Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, located southwest of Tehran. The Israeli military said it was awaiting political authorization to carry out the strike.
The Fordow facility is considered one of Iran’s most fortified nuclear sites, deeply buried under a mountain, which presents a unique operational challenge for Israel, according to The Jerusalem Post.
