Washington – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Thursday that a new roadmap for Syria has been established through both regional and international efforts.
In remarks made during a press conference in New York, Fidan explained that “the new roadmap was crafted thanks to the efforts of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, along with contributions from other countries, chiefly the United States, the European Union, and Saudi Arabia.”
He added that “Israel has long pursued a policy based on destabilization in the region, with no regard for international rules, norms, or the rights and sovereignty of other countries.”
Fidan emphasized that regional countries are closely monitoring these destabilizing actions and are working together in strong coordination on this matter.
“This is our region,” he stressed, “and we cannot tolerate unilateral actions that destabilize it.”
