Damascus, Syria-Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on Thursday, targeting a residential building in the Dummar project area in the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to Syrian media outlets and Reuters.
Syrian media sources reported casualties resulting from the attack near Hamsho Roundabout. Meanwhile, Reuters, citing a Syrian security source, stated that the strike specifically targeted a Palestinian figure affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement on the outskirts of Damascus.

The Syrian newspaper Al-Watan quoted a medical source from Al-Muwasat Hospital, confirming that two people were admitted due to injuries from the Israeli strike, with one later discharged.
Local social media accounts shared footage of the aftermath, identifying the targeted building as being in the terraces area of Dummar project.
Previous Israeli Strikes in Southern Syria
Earlier this week, on Monday, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on military sites in Syria’s southern Daraa province. According to a military source cited by +963, the Israeli Air Force conducted 17 airstrikes on military positions in the towns of Jabab and Izraa in Daraa’s countryside.

The attacks targeted the “12th Brigade” near Izraa with seven airstrikes, while the “89th Regiment” near Jabab was also hit, causing explosions at the site. The source confirmed that there were casualties resulting from the strikes on these military locations.
