Moscow-Four Syrians lost their lives on Wednesday after a Russian missile strike hit a civilian cargo ship in the Ukrainian port of Odesa. Two others were wounded in the attack.
Oleh Kiper, the governor of Odesa, announced on Telegram that the vessel, which was transporting wheat to Algeria, was targeted by Russian forces.

The Ukrainian military reported that Russia launched a large-scale overnight assault involving three missiles and 133 drones. Ukrainian air defences successfully intercepted 98 drones.
Additionally, 20 drones failed to reach their targets due to electronic jamming, while the status of 15 others remains unclear.

In a separate attack, a woman was killed in a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in southeastern Ukraine, according to Dnipropetrovsk region governor Serhii Lysak.
Lysak confirmed that nine people were injured in the attack, and significant infrastructure damage was reported in the city.
