These moves come within the broader context of internal Kurdish reorganisation, aligning with international and regional initiatives to secure a comprehensive political settlement in Syria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent developments suggest a growing convergence among the most prominent Kurdish political factions. There are increasing indications that a comprehensive agreement may soon be announced, one that would lead to the formation of a unified delegation tasked with presenting a joint Kurdish political vision in Damascus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toward a Unified Kurdish Consensus<\/b><\/h2>\n

Shalal Kaddu, head of the Kurdish Centre Party in Syria and a member of the General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council, told <\/span>+963<\/b> that the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue is \u201cnearing completion\u201d, affirming a \u201cunified political vision reached between the two main Kurdish parties\u201d. What remains, he said,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

are procedural steps for formally announcing this vision in the coming days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kaddu added that the next phase will see the formation of a joint Kurdish delegation, which will visit Damascus once finalized. The delegation will present a common Kurdish political position on Syria\u2019s future, with an emphasis on safeguarding the rights of Kurds and other segments of Syrian society.<\/span><\/p>\n

He denied any existing disputes between Kurdish groups and other local communities, stressing that there is \u201cbroad agreement on the necessity of adopting a decentralized system in Syria, one that ensures justice and inclusive participation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe next practical steps will include establishing specialized committees and dispatching a joint delegation to Damascus to engage in direct talks with the Syrian interim government and address unresolved issues,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pushing Toward Unified Representation<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Faisal Yusuf, a spokesman for the Kurdish Council in Syria, said that current efforts are centred on finalizing a shared Kurdish political vision, one that brings together a wide spectrum of political forces, civil society groups, and influential social actors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He revealed that preparations are underway for a comprehensive Kurdish conference, which will be followed by the formation of a joint delegation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat has been achieved so far is promising and aligns with the Kurdish people\u2019s aspirations, as well as those of all Syrians, to contribute to the establishment of a democratic state following the collapse of the previous regime,\u201d Yusuf said, adding that the announcement of the outcome is expected soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kurdish-Syrian Agreement: The \u201cAleppo Agreement\u201d Marks a New Era<\/b><\/h2>\n

In a significant development nearly a month ago, an agreement was signed between the President of the Interim Government, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, and the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi. The deal outlines the integration of the autonomous administration\u2019s civilian and military institutions into the framework of the new Syrian state, covering areas such as the management of border crossings, airports, and the country\u2019s oil and gas resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement also affirms the Syrian state\u2019s support in \u201ccombating the remnants of Assad regime and all threats to its security and unity.\u201d It recognizes Kurdish society as \u201can integral component of the Syrian state,\u201d and confirms that the new constitution will \u201cguarantee full constitutional rights and equal citizenship,\u201d while firmly rejecting \u201call forms of division, hate speech, and sedition.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement stipulates the creation of executive committees to oversee implementation, with a deadline set for the end of this year, a move that signals a deep transformation in the relationship between the Kurdish-led autonomous administration and the central government in Damascus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within this broader context, the so-called \u201cAleppo Agreement\u201d was reached on April 1 between the Syrian Interim Government and the Shaykh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighbourhoods in Aleppo. The deal provides for the integration of the autonomous administration institutions into the state\u2019s structure and stands as one of the clearest signs of rapprochement between Damascus and the autonomous administration, despite ongoing regional challenges, including Turkish and Israeli influence over parts of Syrian territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toward a Unified Political Document and National Conference<\/b><\/h2>\n

Nasruddin Ibrahim, Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Part\u00ee), explained that recent international efforts, led by France and the United States in coordination with the SDF, have led to the development of a unified political document. This framework was built on proposals from the Kurdish National Council, the Kurdish National Unity Parties, and other Kurdish political organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to <\/span>+963<\/b>, Ibrahim said preparations are underway for a new round of dialogue between the Kurdish National Council and the National Unity Parties. He affirmed his party\u2019s commitment to having Council representatives participate in the preparatory committee for the upcoming Kurdish National Conference in Rojava, and in drafting key political documents that will define the foundation of future Kurdish consensus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ibrahim described the current phase as \u201ca pivotal moment in Kurdish political history,\u201d calling for \u201cnational responsibility and swift action to finalize Kurdish unity and protect its achievements.\u201d He reiterated his party\u2019s commitment to a balanced approach, securing national and constitutional rights for Kurds in Syria within a democratic, decentralized parliamentary system that ensures equality for all citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n

In parallel with recent political developments, Kurdish political activist Akram Shamou confirmed that discussions among Kurdish factions have centred on formulating a unified vision and establishing a joint negotiating delegation. He revealed that a \u201ctentative agreement\u201d has already been reached, with details expected to be made public soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to <\/span>+963<\/b>, Shamou stated that these efforts aim to \u201cconsolidate positions on the future of Syria and Kurdish rights, particularly the recognition of Kurdish national identity and the safeguarding of political and administrative rights within any future settlement.\u201d He emphasized that the dialogue is intended to \u201cpresent a unified Kurdish position that will facilitate negotiations with both Syrian and international stakeholders and strengthen the Kurdish role in the upcoming political process.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the emerging consensus, Shamou noted that \u201cthe mechanism for forming the joint delegation is still under discussion,\u201d and specifics such as the number of members and their affiliations have not yet been finalized.<\/span><\/p>\n
